OVEN & STOVE PROBLEMS

DOES NOT IGNITE

If an electric stove won’t start, first be sure the stove is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are switched on. You will want to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the oven power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is burning, it means a different part of the stove will need to be repaired. The cause of the issue could be the surface element, infinite switch, oven igniter or bake and broil element.

BURNER WON’T HEAT

A stove or burner or oven that doesn’t heat does not do much good. Your oven does not heat when there’s a broken bake element or oven sensor. Your burner will not turn on when an element is broken or the burner switch or the terminal block don’t work. We are able to repair these problems in no more than 1-2 hours after our arrival.

TIMER PROBLEMS

You can assume the control panel on a stove or oven is broken if the program or timer settings are not working. If that is the case, we can repair control panels on LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and many other brands and models of ranges, stoves and ovens. We offer a warranty on control boards and parts we use for this oven repair service.

OVEN IS VERY HOT

You always need a hot oven. Just not too hot! When the heat is extremely hot, it could be due to an issue with the sensor or thermostat. Our technicians are able to find the reason for the issue and fix it. Always be careful if troubleshooting this issue for fear of body burns from the very high and unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WILL NOT LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is when an igniter will glow but will not light. The cause is sometimes from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We determine whether we can fix these applianceparts or if we will have to replace the part.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

Newer self-cleaning models of ovens are known to have door issues. The door doesn’t open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door closure, thermostat and seal to identify why the door won’t open and then complete the repair in order to resolve the issue.
